Just like every other WordPress Plugin, SEO Pyramid is straightforward to install, and the setup is equally easy. SEO Pyramid can be installed in two ways, download/upload method or via the plugins’ window in the WordPress Content Management System.
Download/Upload Method
- Click on “Upload Plugin.”
- Click on “Install Now,” then Click on activate
- You are all set. SEO meta tags will now be available on all your pages and post when you enable them.
Install via WordPress CMS
- Click on Plugins on the left pane
- Click on “Add New” at the top left
- Search for SEO Pyramid in the search field.
- Click on install, then click on activate
- You are all set. SEO meta tags will now be available on all your pages and post when you enable them.
SEO Pyramid Setup Process
SEO Pyramid setup process is very simple. There are currently five categories and five corresponding tabs on SEO Pyramid settings window, general, sitemap, schema, sharing, and reports tabs. Each page is accessible via the corresponding tab.
General Settings page:
The general settings page which is accessible via the settings tab houses meta tag features and search engine optimization analytics and verification input fields for Bing and Google.
- Enable desired meta tags and save your changes. The enabled meta tags will now appear on pages and posts edit window.
- Page redirect: When enabled, you’d be able to redirect individual pages to desired locations. The redirect ”End Date” attribute is a measure that disables the redirect if the set date is in the past. However, the redirect process must be completed on the page to be redirected before it takes effect.
- Profanity Filter: When enabled, SEO Pyramid will check for profanity in your content during analysis and inform you if any is found.
Sitemap Settings page:
The sitemap settings page which is accessible via the sitemap tab houses the optional sitemap attributes.
- Enable the sitemap attributes that you’d like to be included in your sitemap and save changes. Your XML sitemap will be built based on the sitemap attributes that you have enabled.
